Published: “Before We Forget Ourselves”-Clackamas Literary Review

Woop woop brothers and sisters, I’m excited to share with folks that the Clackamas Literary Review has chosen my poem “Before We Forget Ourselves” for inclusion in its Volume XX publication.  This journal is published annual by students and faculty at Clackamas Community College. The 250 page paperback is available on Amazon for only $10. Check it out!

This was actually one of my earlier pieces that I wrote in graduate school before moving to the Philippines. “Before We Forget Ourselves” is a piece inspired by dark forests, heavy rains, rustic cabins found on mountain ridges, and is meant as a personal reminder to keep in contact with your primal self.

missing that Montana spring for sure, but I spent most of yesterday snorkeling and scuba diving for a coral gardening workshop so I’m not complaining. As always keep reading and keep writing (and/or scuba diving).
